A BRAND ARCHETYPE FIT FOR A ROCK STAR
When initial research revealed our interior design client, Anonymous Brandt, had a "rebel" brand archetype, we jumped at the rare opportunity to disrupt boundaries in what is usually a serene, interiors and furniture industry space.
Outfitted with a bold and revolutionary brand persona that could only be fit for the unorthodox design talents of Anonymous Brandt, we built an unexpected brand, color and textile system suited for a rock star.
Working closely with designer/founder Brandt Daniels, we developed a suite of non-conforming patterns that are a foundational textile design system, easily interchangeable across wallcoverings, carpet, furniture and upholstery.
A LOGOMARK ROOTED IN FAMILY
The mule logomark is a symbolic juxtaposition between strength, duty, and rebellion. But it is most thoughtfully, a meaningful homage to Brandt's forefathers who overcame dehumanizing adversity as Southern, Black farmers during the late 19th Century.
The divisive constructs of the elusive typography reflect the anonymity of the brand name while the regal yet daring tone of the brand's textiles allures the uniquely confident clientele.
The interplay of the unexpected, systemic brand elements, all cohesively work together, building an endless range of modern, empowering, confident design stories that Anonymous Brandt is well known for.
